That’s why your suggestions made no sense to me. They are not, as you reported, whatare currently referred to as MDF files ("and they open up with the. Extensions for those files were something like. :) What the unit produced were MDR data files using Standard MIDI File Format 0. Perhaps someone at Yamaha still has one lying around or remembers it, but personally I have no access to one (or interest in it), so can’t be of much more help. The Yamaha MDF-2 is a very old device, and was designed for computers, synths and other equipment that was used 15-20 years ago. Instead of basing responses on what you are reporting, let’s look at some other information.
